Your transformation remains entirely personal, and so does your information. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
EMERGE is a private health and fitness programme offered by Skandan Health LLP ("EMERGE", "we", "us" or "our"), a limited liability partnership registered in India, of 605, Barton Center, MG Road, Bengaluru 560001.
We decide how and why your personal data is used, which makes us the Data Fiduciary for it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

If you become a client, your client agreement and consent forms may give more detail about how we handle your health information.
3. Information we collect
When you request a consultation
Through the form on our website we collect your name, phone number, email address, city (if you give it), the best time to call you, what you would like to work on, any note you add, and a record of your consent. We ask you not to send medical details or reports through the form.

When you visit our website
We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website. Like most websites, the server that hosts it automatically records basic technical information for security and operation, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time.
The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
4. How we use it
We use your personal data only to:
- respond to your consultation request and contact you at a time that suits you
- assess whether our programme is suitable for you
- design, deliver, supervise and adjust your programme
- communicate with you about your programme, including on WhatsApp
- keep the records we are required to keep, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations
- keep this website secure and working properly
We process your personal data with your consent, which you give when you submit the form or join a programme. We may also process it where the law otherwise allows, for example to respond to a medical emergency or to comply with a legal obligation.
5. Our discretion promise
We do not use your name, photographs, health information, progress or identity for marketing, testimonials or promotion of any kind, and we do not disclose that you are our client.
We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
7. Where it is stored
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. We transfer personal data outside India only as permitted under Indian law, and we expect our providers to protect it to a standard consistent with this policy.
8. How long we keep it
- If you request a consultation but do not become a client, we delete your enquiry details within 12 months of our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask us to.
- If you become a client, we keep your records while you are a client and afterwards for the period required by medical and legal record-keeping rules. After that, we delete them or make them anonymous.
- Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, and confidentiality obligations for our team and service providers.
If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform the people affected and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under Indian data protection law you have the right to:

- ask us to correct, complete or update your personal data
- ask us to erase personal data we no longer need, unless the law requires us to keep it
- withdraw your consent at any time
- have your grievances about our handling of your data addressed
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to exercise them
To use any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer (section 13). We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to us at [TO CONFIRM: email address].
Once you withdraw consent, we stop using your personal data for the purposes it covered, except where the law requires or allows us to keep it. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before. If you are a client, it may mean we can no longer deliver your programme.
